Review of previous meeting minutes:
Minutes from the July 30 meeting were reviewed. Lance Wang moved to approve the minutes.
Bob Ross seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved.

ARs:
- Lance Wang to test MacOS IBISCHK7.
  - Done. Lance said it worked fine.
- Mike LaBonte to ask Steve Parker to mention ibischk@ibis.org on IBISCHK web page
  - Mike did this, temporarily filling in as webmaster while Steve was on vacation.
Mike showed the web page. Lance Wang asked if the chair@ibis.org address had been
redirected to Randy Wolff. Mike said it had.

IBISCHK700 parser development:
Bob Ross said he had reported problems to the developer. One was related to files
in sub-directories and BIRD186.4 requirements. Bob had asked for new tests for some
parameters. Bob had also found other minor issues. Bob wrote a number of clarifying
rules for Aggressor_Only, noting that the IBIS specification needed an update.
Mike LaBonte asked if the rules were missing from IBIS. Bob said they might be missing.
Mike asked if these rules would then not result in errors. Bob felt they should be
because of our intent.

Bob showed a document that had been sent to the developer, stating rules for
Aggressor_Only. Aggressor_Only was not required. It may exist at any *_I/O pin.
It need exist at only one interface. At least one *_I/O pin must not be Aggressor_Only.
There were 5 rules for [Interconnect Model Set] checking. About rule 4, Mike asked if
we were allowing multiple connection paths between a single interface pair for a pin.
Bob said yes, and his rule disallowing it for Aggressor_Only may have been incorrect.
Mike asked if two [Interconnect Model]s in a group could be both used for the same
connection. Bob said it could. The document had "Unmarked Aggressor_Only" comments.
Mike asked if the IBIS specification had those comments. Bob said it didn't. Bob said
one of his examples created an error by having Aggressor_Only on all *_I/O pins,
even though no single [Interconnect Model] had Aggressor_Only on all pins. Bob said
one example was illegal because it had two identical connection sets. Mike asked
if the previous examples were considerable correct because the seemingly duplicate
[Interconnect Model]s were for different interfaces. Bob said that was the case.

Bob said the developer expected to release new code by Friday, August 9.

IBISCHK7 source code license:
Bob Ross said 5 of the 14 inquiries now had positive responses. ANSYS was fully paid.

New IBISCHK bugs:
No new bugs.

IBIS-ISS parser:
Discussion deferred.

Lance Wang moved to adjourn. Bob Ross seconded. Without objection the meeting ended.
